Two weeks ago 2 young Australian men were executed in Indonesia, together with 7 people from other countries. They were not good men - they were guilty of drug-smuggling. So were the other 7 who were executed. Their execution was by firing squad. However, they did not deserve to die. The death penalty, to me, is nothing more than state-sanctioned murder. I grieve for these men, for all of those who have faced this punishment.
